On 20th of April the Observers went to a women's league football game, Pallokissat, the local team, vs. Honka. As you can see from the flag above it was quite a windy day and it didn't help either that the stadion intensifies the wind about 50%.
Lauantaina 20. päivä huhtikuuta Tarkkailijat kävivät naisten liigan jalkapallopelissä (Pallokissat vastaan Honka). Kuten olemme saaneet huomata, stadionilla tuulee aina noin kaksi kertaa pahemmin kuin ulkomaailmassa.
The tickets to the game were ridiculously cheap and bought without queuing.
Originally the stadion was built for horse racing in 1906, but in recent days it is and has been used for football only.
Liput olivat halvat ja jonot olemattoman lyhyet.
Alunperin alueella sijaitsi ravirata, mutta nykyään stadion on pyhitetty jalkapallokäyttöön.
From the very beginning it seemed that the home team stood no chance. The first half was 0-2 for the visitors.
Ensimmäinen puoliaika päättyi vieraiden kahden maalin ansaittuun johtoon.
Despite the uneven match and the clear overpower of Honka the local supporters managed to create a lot of noise and a good atmosphere.
Ottelun selvästä epätasaisuudesta ja vieraiden ylivoimasta huolimatta Pallokissojen kannattajat jaksoivat poitää ääntä ja luoda tunnelmaa.
Final result 0-4 left a lot of room for improvement for the following games.
Lopputulos 0-4 jätti Pallokissoille paljon parannettavaa seuraaviin otteluihin.
